WHY TRAIN WITH US IN THE HUNTER VALLEY
Ready to get started? Enrol now or Get in touch to register your interest and we’ll let you know our next intake date.
The Hunter Valley is Wonnarua Country, and decades of mining, agriculture and infrastructure have made Aboriginal cultural heritage management part of everyday work across Maitland, Singleton, Cessnock and Muswellbrook. The region is changing again. The Hunter-Central Coast Renewable Energy Zone is being developed on former mining and power station land, and mine rehabilitation, new transmission lines and civil works all need Aboriginal cultural heritage assessment before ground is disturbed.
ECHAM Training helps Hunter workforces meet those obligations with confidence. Our trainers work as archaeologists and heritage professionals, so training reflects the due diligence process, survey work and site recording that Hunter projects rely on.
COURSES IN DEMAND IN THE HUNTER VALLEY
Requirements come from each project’s approval conditions and Aboriginal cultural heritage management plan. Most projects expect workers to complete a cultural heritage induction, and many need staff who can recognise sites and follow an unexpected finds procedure. Our site induction covers the essentials for every crew member, and our cultural sites skill sets build deeper capability for environmental and land teams.
